Apply for this job

Every job Stonecreek builds starts with somebody picking up the phone. That is this role. You field the inbound, qualify it, walk the site, and turn what you saw into a quote the client can say yes to, for custom interiors and for standby power both.

The work

This role sits across Millwork & Interiors and Power Solutions, owning the path from the first phone call to a signed job handed cleanly to operations.

  • Field inbound calls, texts and emails, and follow up while the lead is still warm
  • Qualify leads, schedule sales meetings, and keep the pipeline moving so no inquiry goes stale
  • Attend job-site walk-throughs and capture scope, measurements, photos, risks and next steps
  • Build, send and track quotes and bids for custom interiors and Power Solutions packages
  • Maintain the lead pipeline, follow-ups, quote status and client communication history
  • Coordinate with the designer and install crews to confirm feasibility, lead times and scope
  • Hand accepted jobs to operations with complete documentation
  • Support marketing: content collection, promotions, reviews, project photos, basic social and email
  • Build and keep referral relationships with general contractors, interior designers, architects and design-build partners, visiting and following up, and log what comes of them
  • Carry the early design conversation with designers and architects for our interiors work until a full-time Designer is in place
  • Improve the templates, checklists and tracking the process runs on

What you need

  • Two or more years in construction sales, interior sales or interior design
  • Strong phone and written communication, and confident, professional client handling
  • Organized and process-driven, comfortable carrying several open quotes at once
  • Basic estimating or quoting experience in construction, interiors or home services
  • Working knowledge of CRM or Notion-style tracking, and spreadsheet fundamentals
  • Able to coordinate across design, operations and installation and translate scope into a clear proposal

Helps, not required

  • Familiarity with cabinetry, millwork or standby generator products
  • Experience building out a sales process rather than only working inside one

A normal day

What the day actually looks like.

Not a promise. A normal one.

  • InboxWork last night's inbound. Three calls back before nine, because the contractor who called at 6 pm is calling someone else at 9:01.
  • AnchorageWalk a kitchen with the homeowner. Measurements, photos, where the panel is, what is actually behind that wall.
  • DeskTwo quotes out. One interiors package, one generator install, both priced off real numbers you confirmed with the shop.
  • PipelineFollow up on everything sitting more than four days. Update the board so operations knows what is coming.

What the job comes with

The same for every role.

Pay

Hourly or salaried, and each posting says which. Hourly roles get overtime after forty hours. The starting range is on each posting, and where you start in it depends on what you can actually do. Pay is reviewed once a year.

Retirement

A 401(k) with a three percent company match. It starts the first of the month after your first ninety days, for anyone regularly scheduled forty hours a week.

Paid holidays

Six, from your first day: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Vacation and sick leave

Up to 40 hours of paid vacation in your first year, one workweek, accruing each pay period and usable after ninety days. It grows by eight hours after each year you complete, to 80 hours. Up to 40 hours carries forward into the next year; unused vacation is not paid out when you leave. Paid sick leave is its own bank: an hour for every thirty you work, up to 40 hours a year, carried forward on its own. All told, up to three weeks a year, two of vacation at the top of the scale and one of sick leave, plus the six holidays.

Health

We do not offer a company medical, dental or vision plan today. We would rather tell you that on the job posting than have you find it out after you take the job.

Tools and apparel

Shop tools, safety gear and job-specific equipment are ours. Standard work apparel is company-paid, by role.

Reviews are at thirty, sixty and ninety days when you start, then quarterly.

How we hire

A call, a few hours of real work, an answer.

A phone call first, fifteen minutes, about the work and where in the pay range you would start. Then a couple of hours with the team doing something close to the real work. Then an offer or an honest no, within a week either way.

No panel interviews, no personality tests.
