The work

You support whichever department has useful work for you that day, within your training and under supervision. See the need, take direction, help willingly, finish the job, and leave the work better than you found it.

  • Receive, count, label, stage, move and deliver materials
  • Keep tools, vehicles, inventory, shop areas and jobsites organized
  • Set up, protect, clean up and help with punch work on site
  • Do basic supervised shop, assembly and field-support tasks once you are trained
  • Finish every assignment, cleanup and handoff included
  • Ask before guessing, and report safety, quality, damage, material or schedule concerns as soon as you see them

The work moves. One week it is receiving and staging in the shop; the next it is site protection and cleanup for Construction, sanding and loading for Millwork & Interiors, or parts staging and vehicle organization for Power Solutions. Basic office and coordination support, once you are trained on it.

What you need

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • A willing helper mindset, and flexibility when the priorities change
  • Respectful communication, and the ability to take direction and correction
  • Safe material handling and basic familiarity with hand and power tools
  • A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Honesty about mistakes, uncertainty and the limits of what you know
  • Willingness to work in the shop, in the field and in changing conditions

Where the line is

This is a company-wide support position. It is not an electrical apprenticeship, a skilled-trade position, a permanent seat in one department, a promotion or a wage-progression program, and nobody will tell you otherwise to get you in the door. The work stays inside your training, authorization, licensing, the safety rules and your supervisor’s direction. No energized electrical work without the legal authorization and qualified supervision it requires.

Growth

The first ninety days are about reliability, safety, quality, communication, coachability and being useful across the work you are given. At the end of them we review together where you create the most value. More responsibility, training, opportunity and pay can follow, through documented reviews, as you earn them. No raise, promotion, apprenticeship, department placement or timeline is promised.

What we furnish

Hourly, with overtime after forty hours. A 401(k) with a three percent company match, starting the first of the month after ninety days.

Paid sick leave in its own bank, an hour for every thirty you work, up to 40 a year. This role does not carry paid vacation. Six paid holidays from your first day. Shop tools, safety gear and job-specific equipment are ours. Standard work apparel is company-paid.

Reporting

The Operations Lead.

What the job comes with

The same for every role.

Pay

Hourly or salaried, and each posting says which. Hourly roles get overtime after forty hours. The starting range is on each posting, and where you start in it depends on what you can actually do. Pay is reviewed once a year.

Retirement

A 401(k) with a three percent company match. It starts the first of the month after your first ninety days, for anyone regularly scheduled forty hours a week.

Paid holidays

Six, from your first day: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Vacation and sick leave

Up to 40 hours of paid vacation in your first year, one workweek, accruing each pay period and usable after ninety days. It grows by eight hours after each year you complete, to 80 hours. Up to 40 hours carries forward into the next year; unused vacation is not paid out when you leave. Paid sick leave is its own bank: an hour for every thirty you work, up to 40 hours a year, carried forward on its own. All told, up to three weeks a year, two of vacation at the top of the scale and one of sick leave, plus the six holidays.

Health

We do not offer a company medical, dental or vision plan today. We would rather tell you that on the job posting than have you find it out after you take the job.

Tools and apparel

Shop tools, safety gear and job-specific equipment are ours. Standard work apparel is company-paid, by role.

This role does not carry paid vacation. Paid sick leave applies as above, an hour for every thirty you work, up to 40 hours a year, in its own bank. The rest of the package, the 401(k) match, the holidays, the tools and the apparel, is as written.

Reviews are at thirty, sixty and ninety days when you start, then quarterly.

How we hire

A call, a few hours of real work, an answer.

A phone call first, fifteen minutes, about the work and where in the pay range you would start. Then a couple of hours with the team doing something close to the real work. Then an offer or an honest no, within a week either way.

No panel interviews, no personality tests.
