The work

What the job actually looks like.

The shop's spray booth, gray walls lit from three sides, a filter bank on the back wall, and a stack of red ICRO cans on the floor.
Your room. Lit from three sides, filtered at the back wall, and the ICRO stain and coatings it runs on.
Lengths of painted crown and light rail on a drying rack, freshly sprayed, under a booth light.
What leaves your hands. Crown and light rail, sprayed and racked, before the install crew takes them.

What the job comes with

The same for every role.

Pay

Hourly or salaried, and each posting says which. Hourly roles get overtime after forty hours. The starting range is on each posting, and where you start in it depends on what you can actually do. Pay is reviewed once a year.

Retirement

A 401(k) with a three percent company match. It starts the first of the month after your first ninety days, for anyone regularly scheduled forty hours a week.

Paid holidays

Six, from your first day: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Vacation and sick leave

Up to 40 hours of paid vacation in your first year, one workweek, accruing each pay period and usable after ninety days. It grows by eight hours after each year you complete, to 80 hours. Up to 40 hours carries forward into the next year; unused vacation is not paid out when you leave. Paid sick leave is its own bank: an hour for every thirty you work, up to 40 hours a year, carried forward on its own. All told, up to three weeks a year, two of vacation at the top of the scale and one of sick leave, plus the six holidays.

Health

We do not offer a company medical, dental or vision plan today. We would rather tell you that on the job posting than have you find it out after you take the job.

Tools and apparel

Shop tools, safety gear and job-specific equipment are ours. Standard work apparel is company-paid, by role.

Reviews are at thirty, sixty and ninety days when you start, then quarterly.

How we hire

A call, a few hours of real work, an answer.

A phone call first, fifteen minutes, about the work and where in the pay range you would start. Then a couple of hours with the team doing something close to the real work. Then an offer or an honest no, within a week either way.

No panel interviews, no personality tests.
